Harriet Wright, serving as the Foundation Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Harriet was employed for 26 1/2 years at the Rogers Diagnostic Medical Clinic, Rogers Arkansas. While employed there, Harriet updated the entire clinical stockroom and kept all the records pertaining to the supplies. She also has extensive experience with corporate financial controls to include: coding and paying all doctor office expenses , managing corporate financial records, balancing the organization’s checkbook, and monitoring operating cash flow and constraints at all times. Harriet was the primary interface to the clinic’s accountant for the Individual Retirement Account records. She was also a certified medical transcriptionist, supporting seven (7) physicians in the Rogers Diagnostic Clinic. Harriet’s long history of financial responsibility and corporate trust make her the ideal candidate as Foundation Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. harriet.wright@sbcglobal.net

Scott McDermaid serves the organization as corresponding Secretary and Vice President. Scott is the founder and CEO of Talon Communications, based in San Diego, CA. His company website is www.taloncom.com. Mr. McDermaid has over 22 years of embedded product development, management and entrepreneurial experience. He has held various technical and senior management level positions at Hughes Aircraft Company, Megatek Corporation, Tiernan Communications and Aegis Broadband. Additionally he has completed numerous consulting projects resulting in wireless, wired and video based projects. Mr. McDermaid received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1985, and is currently working on his MSEE (emphasis on Wireless Communications and DSP) thesis from San Diego State University. Mr. McDermaid is an active member of the community and participates in the American Electronics Association, National Defense Industrial Association, San Diego DEFCOMM and the San Diego Telecom Council. Scott is actively involved in the research efforts involving advanced technology related to miniaturized wireless devices used for bio-telemetry and is a welcome addition to the board of directors. scott.mcdermaid@taloncom.com
